Mixing biography with unbridled inner imagination, Jarry Inside Out tracks the convention shattering journey of French author Alfred Jarry (1873–1907), whose monstrous anti-hero Père Ubu launched the modern era of Dada, Surrealism and Theater of the Absurd. The play includes numerous scenes written by Jarry along with episodes from his life. We watch Jarry create a fantastic world of imagination, then enter into it so fully that he becomes a timeless being within the endless imagination of the human mind.
